     PSG center for Molecular Medicine and Therapeutics was established in May 2009 under the aegis of the PSG Trust. It is located on the fourth floor of the new academic building at the PSGIMSR campus. The center fosters high end molecular research to understand the molecular mechanisms of various diseases.

PSG CMMT is in a unique position to achieve its mission by virtue of two assets:

1. Access to cutting edge research facility both at PSGCMMT and at PSG Institute of technology     with its state of the art Nanotechnology center.

2. Access to physicians and patients within the campus at PSG Hospitals, a teaching hospital     attached to PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research.

Our major areas of focus include non communicable diseases, rheumatoid arthritis and Tuberculosis.
